JMC Building Inspection is proud to announce our newest inspector, David Pagano. While many of you have already met Dave of the last few months, you may not know is story or background. Dave has 20+ years of construction experience and is a licensed General ‘B’ contractor in the State of California (1046600).

Dave has extensive experience in residential construction, and specialized in bathroom and kitchen remodels. In 2017, he took the Inspection Certification Associates (ICA) course and subsequently passed the National Home Inspection Exam. Dave became acquainted Paul Barraza at the Golden Gate ASHI Chapter meetings and when Paul asked him to join JMC, he jumped at the chance.

Dave grew up in the Hudson Valley Region in southern New York, in a small town just outside West Point Military Academy. He has more college degrees than he knows what to do with: a BS in Electrical Engineering, an MBA in Marketing Management, and a Master’s Degree in Education (Secondary Mathematics).  Ask him if he’s thinking about going back to school again and watch him cringe.

He moved to Pleasant Hill California 5 years ago and is not looking back. His only regret is leaving his “baby” behind – no, not his child (both children moved out west) – but his 150+ year-old pub with apartments upstairs that he bought in ruins and restored himself.

Dave lives in Pleasant Hill with his wife, who is a Nutritional Regulatory Specialist. His ten-year stint doing triathlons ended two years ago with arthroscopic knee surgery, but he is still an avid runner and cyclist.
